Dorothy Ann “Dottie” Stinson
Dorothy Ann “Dottie” Stinson, 89, passed away peacefully at Highlands Lake Center in
Lakeland, Florida on September 11, 2017. Dorothy was born in Bowling Green,
Kentucky and lived most of her adult life there. She was church secretary at Park Street
Church of Christ and Greenwood Park Church of Christ for 30+ years.
She was preceded in death by her husband C.E. “Eddie” Stinson in 1996. She is
survived by her daughter, Deborah Cooke and husband Richard of Lakeland, Florida,
two grandchildren, Courtney Combs and husband David of Pensacola, Florida, and
Brett Bennett of Lakeland, Florida, one great grandson, Luke Combs of Pensacola, Florida, and one brother, Larry Grace and wife Pat of Austin, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Oct. 6, at J.C. Kirby and Son Chapel on Broadway in Bowling Green. Visitation will be at 10 AM and the service at 11 AM. All friends and family are invited to attend.
