When I think about Dorothy, what comes to my mind is a happy, smiling woman who had lots of energy and a positive attitude. Whether organizing a church Christmas program, VBS, or a camping trip to Door County, she got things going and the rest of us benefitted. We were all blessed when the Johnson's chose to attend Winnetka Covenant Church. My prayer for the family is that each of you carry on her legacy of helping and serving others.
I worked with Mrs. J in Owner Services aka reservations. She was always so passionate about her job, no matter what it entailed. We thought we had it made when the department bought a folding machine to help with all those reservation forms. I remember sitting with her, sorting reservation forms, sharing stories and laughing. She shared her love of history and sparked one in me. Mrs. J was a beautiful soul and will truly be missed. My condolences to her family and loved ones. Amanda Howerton
My sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Johnson. I worked with Mrs. Johnson at Marriott Vacation Club in the early 90’s. We all referred to her as Mrs. J, and I remember her arriving one morning in the office ready to work with hair rollers still in her hair. I said to Mrs. J - “Hot Date tonight?””. Of course, she didn’t know what I was talking about until I pointed out the rollers that were left behind in her hair. I remember going to her beautiful home for a Christmas dinner that Karna had organized for the team. She was a loving and caring lady. May you rest in peace. Angela (McGee) Armstead
