Doris Esther Yeck, 87, passed away July 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Yeck and her son, Doug Yeck. Born September 11, 1930, in Peoria, IL, she was the daughter of the late August and Lillian Hamann. Doris Read Obituary
Doris was a wonderful lady! I knew her from Beacon Terrace. My family was also from Peoria so we had that in common. I know that she went through a lot in the last few years. One day when we were out walking our dogs, she told me how much peace and love she received from her friends at St. Paul Lutheran. She wanted to reach out to other people to share that love. She also told me that she was sure that God had stepped in to heal her and give her strength during her past health crises. She was truly a happy and grateful person who had a strong relationship with her Lord. I know that she heard God calling her to come home on July 28. She will be happy spending eternity with her beloved Joe.

I'm so gratefull for those years working with her. She was always
encouraging and supportive.
