Donna DuBois Lane's Obituary
Donna DuBois Lane, our loving mother, grandmother and wife passed away on July 5, 2023. She was born October 30, 1931, in Albion, New York to Kip and Mary DuBois. She was the oldest of seven sisters.
Donna graduated from Lyndonville High School where she was the President of the Student Council, Cheerleader Captain, and Jr. Prom Queen.
Charlie and Donna were married on June 29, 1952, in Orlando, Florida. Donna and Charlie lived that perfect marriage for over 49 years. They said good-bye with the "perfect kiss' five minutes prior to his death.
She met her husband, Charlie Lane, while working at Publix # 6 in Orlando Florida. Together, Donna and Charlie experienced a wonderful career at Publix in Orlando, Winter Park, Tampa, Bradenton, Ormond Beach and Lakeland, Florida.
Donna was preceded in death by Charlie Lane (husband), Sandra Gail Lane (daughter) and sisters Nancy Wells, Anette (Pete) Dixon and Sally Horn. She is survived by her two sons Chip Lane (Mary) and Randy Lane; three grandchildren Sandy, Kimberly, and Russel; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Alice Nicholson, Judy Peebles and Mary Lou Rohn.
Donna was a devout Southern Baptist, teaching Sunday School at First Baptist Church Ormond Beach, Florida and Parkview Baptist Lakeland, Florida.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 14th at 10:00 AM at Parkview Baptist Church, 509 Parkview Place, Lakeland, Florida 33805. There will be a reception following the service at Parkview Baptist. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Burial Park 4620 US Highway 98 S., Lakeland, Florida 33812.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to either Give Kids the World or the Ronald McDonald House Gainesville, FL.
