Donald Dee Zellner's Obituary
Donald Dee Zellner (81) of Mulberry, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, surrounded by family. Donald was born on August 24, 1942, to Glendora and Rolla Zellner in Plymouth, Ohio. He grew up there and met Joan Wechter. They celebrated their union on November 30, 1963, and over 60 years of marriage had many adventures and created their lives. Together they raised their children, Todd, Judi and Vicki Zellner.
When they moved to Florida in 1979, they established their forever home in Mulberry for the last 44 years. Over the years, he had a steady career and traveled as a truck driver. He loved tractor pulling, engines and was a member of the Florida Flywheelers Antique club of Fort Meade, Florida. When he wasn't on the road, he also enjoyed farm work and raising cattle. Attending St. John Newman Catholic Church of Lakeland, Florida and retired in 2011.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Rolla Zellner, Glendora Zellner and his sister Roberta Taylor. He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Joan, and his three children, Todd Zellner,
Judi Zellner, and Vicki Zellner; his grandchildren Megan Zellner, Lindsey Ripley (Josh), Lauren Terry (Travis), Zackary Boles (Hannah), and Steven Boles; great grandchildren Waylon Terry and Jacob Ripley; his sisters Linda Davis (Al) and Carol Young; and many friends.
