Donald (Don) Splinter
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Donald B Splinter, 80 on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Don was born in Cuba City, Wisconsin on November 20, 1941. He grew up in Hazel Green, Wisconsin where he met his wife Jean. They moved to Janesville, WI where he worked for General Motors for 35 years. After retirement, he moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2000. Don was in the U.S. Army National Guard. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, traveling, could fix anything and was an avid Wisconsin Badgers & Green Bay Packer fan.
Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean (Laufenberg) Splinter, daughters Kris (Rick) Corwin and Debbie (Mike) Tarascio, grandson Dillon Corwin and sister Janet Wonders. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert (Bill) and Myra Splinter.
