Donald "Donnie" Migliore
Lakeland – Donald "Donnie" Migliore, 80, passed away on October 18, 2022.
Donnie was born in Midland, Pennsylvania on September 4, 1942, to the late Frank and Rose Migliore. He was a graduate of Midland High School, as well as Ohio Northern University School of Pharmacy in Ada, Ohio, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. Following graduation, Donnie went on to complete a 46-year career as a pharmacist. He and his loving wife, Barb, moved to Lakeland 11 years ago from New Springfield, Ohio. Throughout his life, Donnie was active in numerous community activities, and was an avid supporter of various youth sports, including the Springfield Baseball Association and South Lakeland Baseball League, as well as the co-founder of the Midland All-Star Classic Basketball Tournament. He was a member of the Mahoning County Pharmaceutical Association, the 300 Club, the Springfield Athletic Boosters, and the Lions Club. Donnie attended First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland. He was a loyal fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Donnie was an adoring husband and a devoted father and "Papa." He lived his life with charisma and zest and made friends wherever he went. He was a great believer in Christ and lived his faith through actions of integrity. Donnie had a gift for listening and helping others. His bright smile and his passion will be missed dearly. He was a cherished storyteller and a witty jokester who brought joy to all those that knew him. His songs and stories will live on through his friends and family. Don Migliore, a true friend of the people.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Migliore; his children, Michael (Amy Cadman) Migliore, Lisa (John) Robison, Dawn (Scott) Cline, Matthew (Casey Fisher) Migliore, Jamie (Michael) Schweim, and Juli Migliore; grandchildren, Kelli Tucker, Kerri Tremoulis, Vaughn Robison, Jack Robison, Miles Cline, Emily Cline, Owen Cline, Gianna Migliore, Cameron Migliore, Quinn Migliore and Emersyn Sessoms; brother-in-law, Ray Colaber; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Migliore and his wife, Maryann; sister, Dolly Galli and her husband, Norman, and sister, Pippie Colaber.
Visitation will be Monday, October 24th from 1–2 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Chapel, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Dr. Lakeland, FL 33801. Funeral services will follow at 2 P.M. at the church.
