The special moments that we shared, for the times that I dared to care; for your kisses I now long, it love or just a simple country song? My heart is filled with a certain glow and in an instant I loved you so, I only hope that you know… For your caress I do now long. Is it love for you, or is it just a simple country song? Can it be from God above and can we find a brand new love; freedom from our loss and pain, free to love once again for my lips do you long? Is it love or just a simple country song? Was it just a chance meeting? Is it real or is it fleeting? Will the feeling grow more strong? Is it true or just a simple country song? Should I trust my beating heart and was it written in the stars? In your sweet embrace do I belong? Could it be love or just a simple country song? Is our love just for a season or is there yet? Another reason? Is it destined to last long, is it love or just a simple country song? So let me ask you this: if a Country singer sang a song, with a voice strong and Clear, …just a simple country song, would you stand and cheer? Or would Connie have to sing the song, singing HER simple country song, and would you call her Dear! I wrote this for you Dennis.
Connie, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how devastating it is for you to loose the 'love of your life' in such a short time. But, thank the Lord you were there for Dennis to bring him so much joy, love and care in the last months he spent on Earth. Praying for you, Arabella and his children as you all grieve Dennis' passing. Praising God that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 🙏🙌 May the Lord comfort you all and give you beautiful memories to share that give you joy and even laughter.
