DAVID R. CASTOR, 57 Mobile Auto Repair LAKELAND - David R. Castor, 57, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Aug. 27, 2014, due to cancer. David was born and raised in Keene, NH, and moved to Lakeland, in 1987. He worked his entire life as an auto mechanic, and for the last 5 years, as owner of his own business, David Castor 'Mobile Auto Repair'. He enjoyed camping, and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing. He was a member of the Outreach Baptist Church.
David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sherry Duffy, his mother Betty Castor O'Hara, a son David Jr., three daughters Jennifer Mattoon and husband Chris, Victoria Duffy, and Abbigail Castor, two brothers Dennis and wife Tracy, and Jeff and wife Lorri, two sisters Roxanne Henson and husband Ron, and Carmen Castor; three grandchildren Owen, Xavier, and Phoenix; and his baby, Diva.
Friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 10 to 11 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland, and to the service which will begin at 11 am. Pastor Michael McCurdy will officiate, and burial will follow at Serenity Gardens.
