Daphne Anne Waters' Obituary
Daphne Anne Waters went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2025. She was born in Lakeland, Florida to parents Ellis Laverne Waters and Mary Ann Waters. Daphne resided in Ocoee, Florida and made her career in retail management for over 30 years, though her true passion was serving in the church.
Daphne was an owner at The Lakeside Church in Oakland, serving in outreach, leading Bible studies, member of the Baptism team, and many other capacities.
Her favorite past time was spending time at the beach, Saturdays with her dad watching FSU/college football, and loving on her fur babies.
Daphne is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Waters; best friends and sisters, Brandee (Steve) Sullivan, Mia Bjorn, Michelle Stoyan; niece Evelyn Sullivan; nephew Matt Sullivan; numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Monday December 29th from 10:00-11:00am with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 at The Lakeside Church, 16001 W. Colonial Dr. Oakland, 34787. Lunch 1:30 at City On a Hill

In lieu of flowers, Daphne asked that donations be made to The Lakeside Church Benevolence, Outreach, or New Building Fund.
