Pops was a wonderful grandpa of mine and a perfect example of living with pure joy. He lived a life dedicated to other people, a true reflection of the life of Jesus Christ. Pops always taught me to work hard and to cherish all the moments. I was so grateful to have been gifted the opportunity to be his grandchild and will cherish all the fun moments that he gave to me and my family. His last words to me were “be good now” which I will always remember. I am so happy you get to be with our Lord and Savior and I cannot wait to see you in Heaven one day. I love you pall ❤️

Dan, you were the most amazing stepdad a girl could ask for. You always treated me and David like we were your own and loved our children the same way. Dan was the most kind and generous man a gal could have as family. He was an amazing second father to my wonderful husband all around best Pops to his grandchildren. He never met a non-family member. He was always so kind, never having an ill thought or complaint. He was always on an adventure looking for treasure (be it gold or or junk, it was all the same). I’ll miss our Pops dearly, remembering always his last charge to me “Be good, I love You”. Back at ya Pops!

I was blessed to have Dan in my live over the last 35 years. As my stepfather and friend, we had many journeys and experiences that will never be forgotten. He was a true gentleman. Thank you Dan for loving my family and I. It was an honor of mine to be on the last leg of your life’s journey with you. See you again someday in heaven where we will praise our Lord together. He was best known to me as Pops! I have fond memories of spending summers growing up with pops and grandma. Pops would always take me along on his adventures where I would learn skills and wisdom about life.
Pops was an incredible man and I was blessed to have his influence and impact in my life.
