Upon learning of Dales Death, I spent some time remembering many of the good times and Events we shared over 43 years of friendship. Even in this time of sadness it brought a smile to my face and an occasional chuckle as I recalled and celebrated our friendship.
I remembered:
The St. Joseph 4th of July Parade in Dales Challenger Convertible and our Look-A-Like daughters walking beside in their chicken costumes.
Attending the 1987 Twins playoff games and eventually the 7th game of the World Series.
Following the SCSU Husky basketball team both at home and on many road trips.
Pontoon Brunches and Evening Cruse's.
Family events at the Park in Pleasant Acres. Birthdays, Anniversaries, graduations, swimming parties, and Donkey Ball.
Nerd Herd events: Moving the Nelson's, Camping, Gourmet Dinners, Wine Stomping at Alex and Phelps Mill.
Saturday breakfast's as we explored Central MN,
Searching for Depression Glass in Antique Shops around MN.
State Park Camping Trips at Sibley, Itasca, Cascade, Frontenac, and White Water. Each of them a Special Adventure.
Adventures on Crane Lake and Clitherall. Fishing the Flow at Glendalough and a few beers and pull tabs at the town of Clitherall.
Following our daughters in their Quest for a State Dance Line .
We had a good run Dale. I will miss you. Blessings and Peace be with you and your family.
