Dale G Lang's Obituary
Dale G Lang, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2018 in Lakeland, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dianne, son Daniel (Judi) Lang of LeCenter, MN, daughters Jean (David) Deetz of St. Paul, MN and Lori-Ann Peterson of New Hope, MN , and sister Marion (Virgil) Rasmussen of Andover, MN, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Glenn.
Dale was born in St. Paul, MN. Following high school, he proudly served three years in the Army, attached to the Army Security Agency. He was the owner of MasterWall, a Minnesota dry wall company, for many years. and retired to Lakeland in 1998.
He enjoyed golf, fishing, basketball, traveling and the company of family and good friends.
The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Hospice for the wonderful care they provided and the compassion they showed during Dale’s last months.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Schalamar Creek ballroom, Lakeland, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Father Flanagan’s Boys Town in Nebraska, the Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, FL, or the DAV organization.
