Daisy Marie Libbert's Obituary
DAISY MARIE LIBBERT LAKELAND - Daisy Marie Libbert passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, to parents, Charles and Nellie Price. Daisy worked for many years at Maas Brothers and then Belk Lindsey. She was a member of First Baptist Church at The Mall and also a member of the Elks Lodge. In fact, in April 2000, the Lakeland Elks Lodge broke new ground by initiating their first female Exalter Ruler, Daisy Libbert. Daisy loved to read, spend time at the beach, travel, and of course, spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Linda Fortenberry of Savannah, GA, Jeanne Dunn of St. Petersburg, FL, Cathy Maltbie of Punta Gorda, FL, Jack Marquis and Charles Marquis, both of Lakeland; grandchildren, Kelly Mitchell, Annette Malloy, Jennifer Anderson, Amanda Matthews, Sheree Sandifer, Ethan Marquis, Steven Maltbie; great grandchildren, Karissa Weaver, Gregory Kelly and Jace Matthew.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 30th, 2015, at Anna Maria Beach, Bayfront Park at 10:00am. Donations may be made to the Lakeland Elks Lodge #1291, Scholarship Fund.
