Craig “Gip” Hauch, 51, of Lakeland, FL and formerly of Berrien Springs, MI passed away January 6, 2015, in Lakeland. He was born in Benton Harbor, MI on April 29, 1963. He graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1981. He moved to Lakeland in the late 1980s. He was a dedicated employee in construction for 30 years.
Craig was preceded in death by his step-father, Tom Faulkner of Berrien Springs. He is survived by his son, Jake, of Lakeland; his mother, Karen Faulkner of Berrien Springs; father, Creston (Pat) Hauch of Eau Clair; brothers Keith Hauch of Berrien Springs and Chad Hauch of Lakeland; half-sister, Sheila Hickmott of Coloma; step-sister, Debbie Wolf of Coloma; step-brothers, Eddie Faulkner and Jimmy Faulkner; his ex-wife and caregiver LeeAnn Hauch of Lakeland; step-daughter Lacey Sumrell of Lakeland; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Craig was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his son, visits with his family in Berrien Springs, golfing, fishing, boating, and 1980s rock 'n' roll.
Services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:30pm at The Sanctuary, 206 Church St. Watervliet, MI., followed by a light meal.
Gonna miss you, brother.
