Connie Lee Weatherill Zolner's Obituary
Connie Lee Weatherill Zolner passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on the morning of July 4, 2024, just a week after celebrating her 81st birthday.
She was born on June 27, 1943, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, where she grew up and attended Kingston High School, graduating in 1961. She was a cheerleader, a basketball player, and her class’s homecoming queen. At Kingston High School, she met her future husband, Joseph Zolner. They were married for 53 years before Joseph’s death in 2016. Together, they had three children, whom they raised in their home in Metuchen, New Jersey. In 1990, they moved to their final home in Lakeland, Florida.
Connie was kind and loving, bringing joy, happiness, and love to her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her older sister, Linda, sons Stephen and Scott, daughter Joann, and her grandchildren Sara, Saori, Eugene, Jonas, Marcus, and Mikael.
Per our mother’s and family’s wishes, a small, private service will be held on July 11.
For those wishing to do so, we ask for donations in her name to the following:
