Cleo Carol “Denny” Crumley
Polk City – Denny Crumley, 76, passed away Dec. 5, 2024.
Denny was born in Winter Haven, Florida on Dec. 24, 1947. He was a graduate of Auburndale High School, Class of 1967. Denny served in U.S. Army Reserve, and was employed by the CSX Railroad for 20 years. After leaving the Railroad, he pursued a flying career in 1993, and was employed as a private pilot until his retirement in July of 2022.
Denny is survived by his wife, Nelly L. Crumley; son, Shawn Crumley; and grandchildren, Lindsay, Dakota and Noah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Comer C. & Merle E. Crumley; brother, Randal Crumley; and son, Shane Crumley.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 10-11 am, followed by funeral services at 11 am at Winter Haven Church of God, 675 Ave. E. SW Winter Haven, FL 33880. Interment will follow at Eagle Lake Church of Christ Cemetery.
