I remember one early morning back in mid November 2014 when Clara and Doug saw me in the waiting room of the Lakeland Surgical Center. I was sitting alone and waiting to be called back for surgery, when they both came over to ask about me. She was scheduled for her shoulder surgery and I was scheduled for my port placement to prepare for my chemotherapy treatments. Clara and Doug spent time encouraging me and praying together with me just before I was called back for my surgery prep. I will always remember how Clara shared her love, showed her concern, and spent her moments praying and uplifting me that morning, even though when she was facing her own surgery. <3
