Lakeland – Christopher Edward Dwight, 31, passed away Jan. 15, 2017. Christopher was born in Tampa, FL on May 5, 1985, and remained a lifelong resident of the Central Florida area. He graduated from Kathleen High School where he was active in Air Force ROTC. Christopher was the lead singer for Nine Mile Drive from Arcadia. For the past year he was also an acoustic singer and entertainer in Key West under the stage name J.C. Edwards.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Bill and Gail Dwight; sister, Natalie (Alan) Copeland; aunt, Lynne (Robert) Hultquist; his special cousin, Donna Hultquist, and numerous other cousins and extended family.
A Celebration of Life for Christopher will be conducted at First Baptist Church at the Mall on February 8, 2017 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society or Moffit Cancer Center, Tampa.
