Christel and I lived next door to each other on Weaver Ave. as teenagers! We spent many hours swinging under our oak tree in the afternoons, sharing the happenings and experiences of the day with each other. She was one of the kindest, most gentle young ladies I had ever met. Her Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters were such a close knit family, and one that always reached out to others in the neighborhood. I will always remember her kindness. RIP, my friend. Heaven is sweeter with your presence. My prayers go out to your entire family. They are precious to my heart, memory, and spirit.
