She was born a twin on May 16, 1995 in Charleston, West Virginia to Jessica Patten and Craig Johnson Jr. She developed a love for arts through writing, dancing, painting, and teaching. Cheyenne always found unique ways to express her vibrant and passionate spirit.
Cheyenne grew up in Charleston, WV and attended Capital High School of Performing Arts where she graduated with Honors. She was involved in dance and cheerleading and various clubs, and extracurricular activities while attending school there. Later she attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia where she majored in Exercise Science. She excelled in all of her studies and she had many callings throughout her life. She was dedicated to living out her purpose in life and had a unique ability to find beauty in the simplest of things, especially nature. She found nature to be healing and she felt a deep sense of vitality when dancing and being present with all of God's creation. She shared this perspective with all of those around her. She often expressed emotions of life through her writing and dance. Cheyenne leaves behind a legacy of love and inclusion. She did everything with passion, creativity, and shared her great love with all. She made everyone feel like someone special, and she touched many lives with her genuine compassion for people and life. Her legacy will live on and continue to shine brightly through her daughter, Remi Christina Patten. Cheyenne's role as a Mother was inspiring. She was nurturing, loving, patient, and devoted to Remi.
