LAKELAND - Mrs. Charlotte M. Walter, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, due to cancer. She was born in Lewisburg, PA. Charlotte worked as a missionary with United World Mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, then moved to Lakeland, FL, in 2007. She is a member of First Baptist Church at The Mall in Lakeland.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 67 years, Carl C. Walter; son, Steven Walter; daughter, Marilyn Horn all of Lakeland; brother, Edgar Mitch (Sonny); sisters, Nancy Mitch Aikey, Gloria Mitch Graham; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014, 10:00 - 11:00am at First Baptist Church at The Mall. Services will follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, United World Mission, Bibles and Christian Training Literature, account 63807 or memorial gift in memory of Charlotte, P.O. Box 63807, Charlotte, NC, 28260-2002.
