Charles Daniel Stephens
Winter Haven - Charles Daniel Stephens, 70, passed away on June 4th. He is survived by his daughter Trish Stephens; siblings, Laughton (Helen) Stephens, Larry Stephens, Barbara Rodgers, Gary Pynes, and Larry Pynes; and nephew, Alan Stephens.
He went to Auburndale High School and the University of South Florida. He was a proud member of the Army Artillery Division from 1967 - 1970. He served in Vietnam from 1967-1968. Charlie loved traveling and fast cars. He raced cars on the street as a kid and on the drag strip as an adult. He loved building them too. He had a hearty laugh and a quick wit and was well liked by everyone. He was the life of the party. He will be missed.
Visitation will be on Mon. June 11th at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Lakeland from 10-11 am. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in Oak Hill Burial Park.
