Charles Henry Page, 76
LAKELAND - Charles Henry Page, age 76, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his home of 52 years in north Lakeland. Born December 19, 1941, in Lakeland, the son of Charles Fletcher Page and Nellie Kate Sutton, he and the love of his life, Nancy, celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last July.
After graduating from Lakeland High School, he served in the US Navy. Working for Lakeland Electric for 27 years, he retired as a respected Line Crew Foreman. During that time, he earned his electrical contractor’s license and started his own business to fund college educations for his three daughters. He was a lifetime blood donor. Compassionate and hard-working, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, helping others, and doing the right thing. Most of all, he was a proud husband, dad, and grandpa who loved his family deeply.
Charles is survived by his wife, Nancy; sister, Nancy Lou Miller of Lakeland and three daughters, Lisa Quigley (David), Jennifer Milstead (John), and Stacey Buchanon (Jeremy), all of Lakeland. The Pages have fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 6-8pm, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, 33809. The graveside service will be held Friday at 10am at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 South, Lakeland, 33812.
