LAKELAND - Mr. Charles Eugene Gaughf, 82, passed away on Thur-sday, June 11, 2015. He was born in Sylvester, GA to Jesse and Alma Gaughf. Eugene worked as an oven operator for Sunbeam Bakery in Lakeland for many years. He attended First Baptist Church At The Mall. Eugene is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mildred Julia Gaughf; sons, Darrell Gaughf of Micanopy, FL and Lester Gaughf of Bolivia, NC; daughters, Beverly Richardson and Virginia Simmons both of Lakeland; sister, Laura Watson of Kathleen, FL; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, 10:00 - 11:00am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am with interment to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
