Carswell Bronzell "Ron" Morgan's Obituary
Carswell Bronzell (Ron) Morgan, 86 passed away on Sunday December 31, 2017 at his residence in Lakeland, FL surrounded by his family. He served in the United State Air Force during the Korean War. He was a 32nd degree Mason, State Certified electrical contractor. He moved to Lakeland in 1954 and was an Electrical inspector for the City of Lakeland. He started his own electrical contracting business, Morgan Electric Company. Throughout his life he served Lakeland as a member for the Apprenticeship board, and Polk County Licensing Board. He volunteered his experience for the opening of the 1st Tee project and downtown lighting in Munn Park.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He was a longtime Florida Gator fan. During the latter years he was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Live Oak, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Thomas Morgan, Wilbur Morgan, brother Thomas Evann Morgan, sister, Barbara Watson. Wife, Rosetta K Morgan, Grandson, Steven Morgan. He is survived by his wife Edna Bennett Morgan, Brother Virgil Morgan (Lucretia), Sister, Dale Starling (James), Sons, Tim I Morgan, Steven Morgan. Daughter, Suzie Slachta (Dan). Four Grandchildren, Lyndsay Morgan, Samantha Morgan, Makayla Morgan, Shaun Slachta.
Services are being held at Highland Park Church of the Nazerene Friday, January 5th, 2018. Visitation at 11:00am, followed by the Celebration of Life at 12:00pm.
