Carole Diane Wilson's Obituary
Carole Diane Wilson
June 7, 1939 to February 8, 2023
Carole, 83 of Mulberry, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, February 8. Carole was born to Lloyd Earl Robbins and Elizabeth Irene Robbins in Owego, NY and grew up in Sandusky, OH. Carole then lived over 20 years in Allen Park, MI before moving south to the sunshine in Florida.
Carole enjoyed office work at several prominent law firms in Detroit and then at Burroughs which later became Unisys. Always interested in working closely with people, Carole was proud of her years in customer service at Northwest Airlines and Walt Disney, and also had many successful years selling lots of things such as cars, water sport equipment, insurance and more. She received numerous awards for exceeding customer expectations.
Carole loved the water. From Lake Erie, to the canals in Gibraltar Michigan, to the Atlantic Ocean, and finally to the lake behind her retirement home where she watched "The Show" of wildlife every morning - Carole's heart was always on the water. It was her happy place.
But most of all, Carole treasured her grandchildren. You couldn't speak to her for more than a few minutes without hearing about them. She loved them all dearly.
Carole will be remembered warmly by her many friends and family for her quick wit, strong independence and perseverance. She always had a plan and managed to pull it off somehow. She was spunky! To the very end of her life, Carole did things her way, and only her way.
Carole is survived by her four children, Jon Lloyd (Darlene), Dennis Clarke, Jennifer Susan, Denise Carole (Sal); her beloved grandchildren: Neil (Sonia), Nathan (Jennifer), Scott (Erin), and Natalie (William); Austin (Haley); Sara (Elliott), Tre (Sarah), Vinnie, Giancarlo and Paolo; her great grandchildren: Chloe, Autumn, Ian, Thomas, Anabelle, Sydney, Braden, Bailey, Devon, Nicholas and Benjamin; and Olive, and many dear nieces and nephews including her niece Joanie who lived nearby and offered so much love and support to Carole over the years.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Irene, and siblings Anne (John), Joan (Ray), Gary, and Lloyd.
At Carole's request, there will be no formal services.
