Carmen Maria Slivinski's Obituary
Mulberry - Carmen Maria Slivinski, 67, died on May 4, 2016. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 30, 1949. For thirty years, she was a beloved art teacher to thousands of students at Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove, FL, and Lakeland Highlands Middle School. In her retirement, there was nothing she loved more than playing tennis, spending time on the beach - particularly on Anna Maria Island - and her family.
Mrs. Slivinski is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lawrence Slivinski; children, Stephen (Krystal) Slivinski and David Slivinski; and grandchildren, Calvin (7), Simon (5), and Leo (2).
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
