Lakeland – Carmen M. DeJesus, 62, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico and moved to Lakeland from Hoboken, NJ 8 years ago. Carmen attended Victory Church in Lakeland. She loved sewing and making jewelry.
Carmen is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (John) Whitley of Lakeland, Ebony (Frank) Viscioso of North Bergen, NJ, Briana DeJesus of Cambridge, MA; brothers, Timmy DeJesus of Lakeland, David DeJesus of Jersey City, NJ; sisters, Mercedes Rivera of CT, Rosa Stone of Hoboken, NJ, Aida DeJesus of North Bergen, NJ; grandchildren, Adrian, Hope, Brandon, A.J., Manny, Deanna, Annie and John.
A visitation will be Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00pm at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
