Carlton "Carl" Ray Tanner, 56, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on November 11, 2019.
Carl is survived by his daughters Tiffany (Claude) Poissant, Selena (Wayne) Moore, son Ray Tanner, sister Barbara Tanner, brothers Marty (Donna) Tanner, David Tanner, and 10 loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Maveline Tanner, brother Alan Tanner, and sister Janice Rublin.
If you were around Carl long enough, you'd know he enjoyed laughing and having a good time with family and friends. Carl loved listening to music. He was a 3rd generation painter. He was a hard worker and loved his job. He was always finding something to do to keep busy, whether it was working in the yard, taking on a new project, or finding something to paint. He found pleasure in helping others. He loved his children and family and will be greatly missed by many.
Memorial service for close family and friends will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 5:30 PM. At New Hope Revival Center, 3034 Morgan Combee Road, Lakeland, FL 33801.
To be a blessing to the family, the family will be accepting donations at the memorial service to help cover the expenses of Carl's inurnment.
