LAKELAND-Mr. Carl Clinton Warnock, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2014 due to natural causes.
Carl was born August 15, 1924 in Towns, Georgia to Charles & Ruby Pearl Warnock. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Carl was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lakeland.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Bette J. Warnock; a sister, Jackie Pogue; and brother, Robert Warnock. Survivors include his companion, Helen Wilson; sons, Chuck (Donna) Warnock and Mike Warnock; daughter, Shawnee (Robert) Williams; grandchildren, Michael E. Warnock, Stacey (Wayne) Jenkins, Bobby Williams and Chris Williams; great grandchildren, Layla Warnock, Miranda & Ellise Jenkins and Anthony Williams; three sister-in-laws, Joyce Houser, Hazel Brackett and Ernestine Warnock; and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be Tuesday, May 6th from 1-3 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1945 N. Florida Avenue. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the church with interment at Serenity Gardens.
