Carl and I were childhood friends in Willow Oak, we grew up and lost contact Carl was a good man and friend.

I first met Carl in 1995 while working at Fabri-Tech in Mulberry and our friendship continued after serving him as a customer as I worked at E&W Tool and Supply just up the road from Mulberry Railcar til 2013 when I retired. We shared lunch together about 3 days out of 5 at the lake at Bone Valley. We talked, fished and and shared stories. Being a retired pastor, Carl shared his thoughts about his cancer and mortality and I prayed for him on a regular basis. I can not count the number of times he invited me to fish frys and because of my late lunch schedule would insure I ate by preparing me a plate and keeping it warm in the oven. My summary of my dear friend Carl would be that he was a great and gracious man, a grand cook but more importantly a good friend. It was an honor to attend his services this morning at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church. May God's personal presence bring the family comfort and your wonderful memories of Carl ease the ache in your hearts....Bud Porter....RIP Friend!
I remember going to visit my friend Susan Resmondo Hill when we were kids and seeing Carl come to his parents house. He always was so nice. So sorry for your loss. He's now in the arms of his Savior. Share a memory of Carl A. Resmondo or send condolences to the family. It is hard to remember when Carl wasn't in the family. Thinking back on their Alabama visits everyone probably has a Carl memory. Remarkable man he had time for everybody adults, kids and in between. When he left everyone probably thought he spent the whole time with them until they talked to someone else. RIP Carl! Will NEVER forget sitting on the "spin around" in Aunt Cheryl Beck Resmondo and Uncle Carl's backyard and knowing that he would run faster than it could spin and catch whomever fell off! Memories! Then go to the driveway for oysters....lol
