Carl Ray Loetscher, Sr.
Lakeland – Carl Ray Loetscher, Sr., 70, passed away June 24, 2018.
Mr. Loetscher was born in Plant City, FL on Sept. 3, 1947, and remained a lifelong resident of the area. He was active as a little league coach for many years at Duff Road Park and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Polk City. Mr. Loetscher was the owner and operator of Ray Loetscher Plumbing.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Loetscher. He is survived by his wife, Carol Loetscher; sons, Ray (Dawn) Loetscher, Jr. and Terry (Melinda) Loetscher; brothers, David. Danny, Joe and Doyle Loetscher; sister, Diane Loetscher; half-brother, Steve Ferlita; half-sisters, Stephanie Ferlita and Nancy Peterson; grandchildren, Casey Loetscher, Michael and Ashley Hayes; great grandchildren, Ryan, Ellie and Patrick Hayes.
Visitation will be Thurs. from 10-11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Lakeland. Services will follow at 11 am at the funeral chapel, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
