Denise Renee Bruneau Caldwell, 1939 – 2019
Carl and Denise Caldwell passed away on December 11, 2019, at their home in Mulberry, Florida.
Carl was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on July 15, 1933, to the late Virgil and Netchel Caldwell. He served in the U.S. Army and was a master carpenter. Carl was gifted with his work in carpentry, and could make or build most anything. He enjoyed boating and sailing in his spare time.
Denise was born in Saint-Gaultier, France on February 5, 1939 to the late Henri and Octavie Bruneau. She was a chemist and enjoyed walking, working crossword puzzles, sewing and quilting.
Carl and Denise are survived by their sons, Carl David Caldwell II and Samuel Rene Caldwell; Carl's daughters, Valerie and Carla; Denise’s sister, Alice Nunley (Jim, husband); Carl’s sisters, Rudene and Mary; grandchildren, Jace Daniel Caldwell and Alexis Renee Caldwell. They were preceded in death by Carl’s brother, Simon and his sister, Janie.
Visitation for Carl and Denise will be on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 12 – 1 pm at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road Lakeland. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm following the visitation at the funeral home.
