Carl Wayne Convis' Obituary
Carl Wayne Convis, born 5/26/39 in Flint, Michigan to parents JD & Bernice Convis, being the 9th child of 11 children. Died 11/6/2022 in Mulberry, Florida.
Carl is survived by his wife Linda, their children and spouses, Carlene, Jerry (Maria), Julie, Jnet (Jon), Manny (Teresa), Tina (Jim), Kevin (Christi), 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a younger sister, Marie.
Carl graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1958, then joined the Air Force in 1959, and retired after 22 years of service. Carl had a love of the outdoors, enjoying many hours landscaping and beautifying his home. He also enjoyed woodworking, creating special pieces of furniture for loved ones.
Carl married Linda in 1979 and had a wonderful 43 years together with many adventures. Carl was a loving husband and a wonderful father to his children, and he will be missed so much.
In 2014 Carl began studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses, finding many truths held therein. He felt it was a great privilege to dedicate his life to doing Jehovah's will. In 2015 Carl made the most important decision in his life, to dedicate himself to Jehovah, symbolizing it with water baptism. It was important for him to read his Bible daily and share in the ministry as his health allowed.
