Brenda O. Hutchins
Lakeland – Mrs. Brenda O. Hutchins, 63, was called home to be with The Lord on Friday, December 15, 2017. She was born in Lakeland, where she was a lifelong resident. Brenda was a graduate of Lakeland High School, class of 1972. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she played the piano and sang in the choir.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lula Mae Sandford and Harold Tennyson Odum. She is survived by her husband of almost 35 years, William J. Hutchins; 2 sons, Jason (Marci) Richardson, Tim (Katrina) Hutchins; daughter, Kandice (Danny) Raulerson; brothers, Lavon (Joyce) Odum, Herman (Sharon) Odum. She was “The Best Granny Ever” to 8 loving grandchildren, Riley, Reese and Reagan Hutchins, Laney, Alea, Landon and Laceigh Raulerson and Maddy Grace Richardson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20th, 9:30 – 11:00am at Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am and interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Music Ministry. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.gentry-morrison.com
