Blanche A. Geise
Lakeland – Blanche A. Geise, 92, passed away Nov. 3, 2023.
Blanche was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 1, 1931, to the late Joseph and Catherine Brzezinski. She graduated from St. John’s University in 1953, and was employed by AT&T in the 50’s. After raising her family, she worked for NYNEX from 1983 until her retirement in the early 90’s.
Blanche was always active in church and church functions, including many years with Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lakeland. She enjoyed swimming, and loved to go to the beach.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Geise; and brother, Joseph P. Brzezinski. She is survived by her children, Robert (Carmen Medina) Geise, Richard Geise and Jeffrey (Stacy Donald) Geise; grandchildren, Sabrina, Joseph and Nicolette (Lehman), Andrew, Steven and Zachary.
Visitation will be Mon. Nov. 13th from 6-8pm at Gentry Morrison Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Dr. Lakeland. Visitation will be Tues. Nov. 14th from 10-11 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 820 Marcum Rd. Lakeland, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at the church. Interment will be Wed. Nov. 15th at 1:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation: info.arthritis.org
