Lakeland – Billy Coker, 68, passed away on August 28, 2016. He was born in Lakeland, FL, on May 20, 1948. Billy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Billy is preceded in death by his father, Carl Eddie Coker. He is survived by his mother, Hattie “Pat” Coker; children, Jamie Mercer, Michelle (Jon) Bergozza, and Jennifer Stieringer; brothers, Carl (Annis) Coker and Guy Coker; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, from 6 to 8 pm and a funeral service on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10 am, at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road in Lakeland.
