Beverly had a servant’s heart which showed in her dedication to patients at Lakeland Regional Health for forty years as a Patient Care Assistant. She provided for her family in many ways, one of which was growing vegetables for the table, a task she thoroughly enjoyed. Many beautiful pieces of art were created using the one stroke method which Beverly practiced and developed her skill over the years. In the era of line dancing, she could be found, surrounded by family, heel strutting to chart-topping tunes. Sometimes, it was a nightly event, remembered by all who joined.
Beverly is preceded in death by her father and mother; brother, Charles “Chuck” Corbitt; and sister, JoAnn Corbitt.
Michael Lasseter, her loving, devoted and cherished husband of more than thirty years survives her, along with their son, Brian Corbitt; sister, Barbara Chastain and two grandchildren.
The family invites you to join them on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00-7:00PM for a time of visitation.
