Beverly Ann Harwell's Obituary
Beverly Ann Harwell, a beloved resident of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. She was 71.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Beverly was the daughter of the late Reverend Donald and Mrs. Nell Ketcham. Her family moved to Florida when she was two years old, where she would spend the rest of her life creating cherished memories.
Beverly found immense joy in exploring the outdoors, often camping with her husband and family in their travel trailer throughout Florida and Georgia. Her stays at the beach were particularly treasured. A passionate sports enthusiast, she loved watching various games, especially soccer, a sport she played for many years.
A member of Bethel Baptist Church, Beverly also dedicated many years to serving her community. She was known for her warm presence as the lunchroom manager at Socrum Elementary and McKeel Academy. In addition to her time in the school system, Beverly spent over 30 years as a cosmetologist, leaving a lasting impression with her sense of style and skill.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of nearly 44 years, Gene Harwell; her daughter, Heather Harwell, and Heather's wife, Leeann; her precious granddaughter, Everly; and her brothers, Gary Ketcham and Phillip Ketcham (Carin).
