Betty Jo Davis
Lakeland - Betty Jo Davis, 85 went home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2021. She was born in Thomasville, GA in 1935.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; Brother, Johnny Layton and son in law, James Williams. Survivors include her daughters, Penny Williams, April (Eric) Sanders; son, Monty (Kim) Davis; brothers, Terry (Brenda) Layton, Ronnie (Carissa) Layton; sister, Jeanette (Sammy) Weeks; sister in law, Shirley Layton; grandchildren, Lance Williams, Amy Lindsey, Hunter Davis, Jacob Davis, Josh Sanders, Dylan Sanders and Erica Gass; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 12th from 10:00 - 11:00am at The Rock Community Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Private interment will take place at Springhead Cemetery.
