Barbara Lee Schneider's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Lee Schneider (84) on December 4, 2022. Barbara moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1969 with her husband Tom and three daughters. Although Barbara earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and worked outside the home at various stages in life, her greatest joy came from her marriage to Tom, raising her daughters, and taking an active role in the lives of her grandchildren. Barbara valued her friendships and had many close and loyal friends. Over the years, she always looked forward to bridge club, breakfast dates, card games and weekly phone calls. When not with friends, Barbara had many hobbies. She was an avid reader, enjoyed needlework and sewing, and took pride in cooking homemade meals. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Thomas Schneider. Barbara is survived by her three daughters: Teresa (Julio) Siberio, Janet Leath, Lauren LePere, six grandchildren: Julio Siberio, Krystina Serpa, Amanda Geller, Amy Siberio, Alex Leath, Morgan LePere and eight great-grandchildren. Barbara will be laid to rest beside her husband at Oak Hill Cemetery. Burial services will be private. A gathering for friends and family will be held at Barbara's home on Monday, December 12, between 2 and 4 pm.
