BARRETT, 73
LAKELAND - Faye was born on March 6, 1941 in Thomasville, GA, and resided in Lakeland for the last 37 years. Faye passed peacefully after nearly a decade bout with cancer.
Faye was a faithful servant of God, a true example of how to love and live life. The joy of the lord was her strength. Faye had the heart of an artist and the spirit of an angel.
Affectionately know to her family as Shug, she is survived by daughter Cherie and son in law Steve Chasteen; daughter Shannon & son in law (New Smyrna Beach Mayor) Adam Barringer, their families including grandsons Colby, Zack and two great granddaughters.
She will be truly missed, we love you!
Visitation will be Thursday 10-11am with services at 11am at Victory Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
