I am so shocked and saddened to learn today that Aurora had passed away. My Brother, Don, called my Mother and she told me tonight. I live in Sanford, FL and hadn't seen Aurora for a few years but thought of her often, every time I visited my Mother I'd pass by the farm on the way to Hwy 98. Aurora and I were best friends back in high school/college days. We drove all around Lakeland and the surrounding area, looking for fun things to do, we were young and hopeful for our futures I married and moved, losing close touch with Aurora but I loved her just the same We had such good times, and shared sad times too. My daughter, Berkely, was just telling me Tuesday that I should re-connect with Aurora, little did I know that I wouldn't have that chance again. Aurora was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was kind, funny, witty and had a beautiful voice. We had such fun. My condolences to family and others who also loved and cherished her.

Aurora had within the last 6 months started a once a month Operators Lunch. We had a wonderful time. Looked forward to it each month. Aurora said a lot or a few we get to see each other and have a good time. We also get to try a new Restaurant. I loved to hear her laugh. That was important to her to reconnect. We sure did that. You will be missed by all who knew you. May you RIP!
God Bless Family and Friends.
