Mama Sue was a sweet and caring woman who gave her love to everyone she met. She was an inspiration to all and a disciple of her Jesus. She raised way more children than she bore and did all she could to lead them down the path to her God. She could cook the best pot of green beans you ever ate and her biscuits n ham at Christmas breakfasts were better than you will eat anywhere. Sue got me started on my quilting journey, but I'll never be the quilter that she was. Her quilting surpassed all others and many in the family will be warmed by her quilt work for years to come. Sue will be loved and missed by us all, but she is in the arms of her Savior now. No more pain and suffering. Godspeed Mama Sue, on your butterfly wings. I love you.
Until we meet again,
Your DIL Verna
