Ana Marie, you will be missed more than you'll ever know. You taught me how to be a nurse, about your culture, and most importantly, you led by example on always doing the right thing. You gave me so much to look up to that it's kind of amazing. It wasn't just the woman, the nurse...it was something that superceded male/female, career, anything...it was something pretty incredible that is hardly describable. Like, strength and wisdom that was unparalleled, but...that isn't even a proper description. I was always amazed by you. You were amazing in this life and loved beyond measure. I love you now and forever, til the day we meet again.

To Ana's Family:
I always looked forward to the days that I knew Ana would be working with me in pre-op at the Surgery Center in Lakeland. We had a lot of fun together while we were working side by side as a team laughing and teasing each other. Sometimes she would call me "Mama". I would laugh and say, "I'm not your Mama".
Ana Marie had a warm smile and a big and loving heart. I could see right into her heart through her soft brown eyes. She was kind and respectful to everyone, especially her patients.
I pray that God will continue to comfort you in the loss of sweet Ana Marie. She will always be in my heart.

To Ana's family:
I met Ana mid 2015 during her battle with cancer, and while she was in and out of the hospital this young lady was a joy to have around. Each time she would walk onto the unit at SFBH or as one of our patients, my heart would feel a certain amount of joy, because that's what she brought. Ana's calm sprits and confidence was breathtaking. As a new RN to the hospital seen she always made me feel welcomed, and secure in asking for her knowledge. Never judging or making one feel inadequate. I saw her fight with all she had never giving up on life, or her faith in Jesus Christ. Ana's will not only be missed by her wonderful family, but by all who ever had the privilege of knowing her.
