Mr Alton Holloway's Obituary
Mr Alton Holloway of Sebring passed away on November 10, 2024 at his home. Alton was born to the late Woodrow and Ollie Mae Holloway. He was of the Christian faith and attended Christ Fellowship Church in Sebring.
Alton had an admiration for automobiles. For many years he sold for Bartow Ford, later, he began his own business as a wholesaler. In addition to his career, Alton enjoyed antique cars. For over thirty-five years, Alton shared his life with his best friend, Carol Strange. Together they forged a life of happiness and filled with memories. Fishing, playing poker, visiting the casino, sharing time with his friends and making strangers into friends were his pastimes.
Alton is survived by his significant other, Carol Strange; step-daughters, Rae Mathis (Rico), Donna Cook (Paul); sister, Barbara King and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held to honor the life and memory of Alton on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00AM in Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Hwy 98 S, Lakeland, FL 33812.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
