Alice Mary Comstock-Conibear, living at The Estates of Carpenters, in Lakeland, FL died on March 25, 2016. She was born in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota to Lawrence and Verna Comstock on January 18, 1923.
Alice came to Lakeland, FL from Illinois in October 1980. She was an artist and needlewomen, having won many awards in both fields. She was a member of D.O. in PEO and Past President of Chapter E.E. in Morton, Illinois. She was a hospital volunteer, member of the Republic Womens Club and the First United Methodist Church. She sang in the Cathedral Choir and was on the Alter Guild and a member of Circle 15 of United Methodist Women.
She was a homemaker married to Robert Charles Conibear who preceded her in death in 1986. Alice was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Charles Conibear.
Alice is survived by her three children, Camellia Paulin, Albany, GA; Cecellia Clifton, Cocoa, FL and Timothy Conibear, Los Asos, CA; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 3:30 pm at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, FL 33810. Interment will be at a later date at Roberts Cemetery in Morton, Illinois.
