It was a blessing to know Mrs. Puissegur. The PEACE with her home going that passes all understanding is that there is no doubt of what and who she believed in, and why her eternity is secure. She is "absent from the body and present with the Lord." Now, she is at peace with her loved ones that have gone before her...
Personal memories lead me to why I always felt welcomed and loved in her home. Many years ago when her son Danny (Daniel Eric) and I were teenagers in college, I met his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Puissegur, as they came to visit Danny at college. Time passed, as did many week-ends and Holidays that Mrs. Puissegur and the Puissegur family welcomed me into their home. They made me feel a part of their family. During college, I was young and my parents were going through divorce. Yet, I could count on Mrs. Puissegur to welcome me into her warm home. She showed me love and gave me a fun and loving vision of family, along with those wonderful black beans and rice:) She was and is a supporting column in my heart. She, her husband and the Puissegur family reached out to help others.
All who knew Mrs Puissegur, knew she was so proud of all three of her children, and later her grandchilren and the "greats." It was evident that she loved and was so proud of her first born, smart and beautiful daughter Alby. Mrs. P. encouraged her talented son Daniel. She laughed, was amazed and rejoiced in the industrious nature of her baby Frankie. She was there for her children, husband, family and even those she loved and honored to invite in as a part of her family. She was there for her children from the beginning of their days. Finally, she had taught them well, they honored her and were there for her through the end of her mortal days. Blessings, peace and comfort to all Mrs. Puissegur's family.
Love, In Christ,
