Aaron Driggers
Lakeland – Aaron Driggers, 76, passed away on June 27, 2017.
Mr. Driggers was born in Apopka, FL on July 26, 1940 and remained a lifelong resident of Central Florida. He served in the Army Reserves following his graduation from Plant City High School (linebacker #54 for the Planters) and eventually retired from the Weyerhaeuser company. Mr. Driggers was an avid Florida Gator fan as well as a 50’s and 60’s music enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, antique collecting and family gatherings. He also took great pride in supporting the Florida Lottery and casinos across the country.
Mr. Driggers is survived by his son, Stephen (daughter-in-law Jennifer) Driggers; sister, Janet Biddle; brother, Wayne Driggers; grandchildren, Morgan and Austin Driggers.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday (July 8th) at 10 am at Mt. Enon Cemetery, 3702 N. Frontage Road, Plant City, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aaron’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
